he just couldn’t wait to jump in. the post wasn’t even about that. she just shared a link about eing the black kid in class. smh. and he kept referring to us as blacks, so you know the deal.

you know this kind of made me angry. they both have rights and they both should get those rights. the black community has gotten their rights, yes there is still racism but that is something you can never get rid of completely. the lgbt community is still fighting for their rights. nobody should say “oh we have to fight harder” or “oh we deserve it more” because nobody knows the struggle until it is faced by their self. i dont agree with anyone in this argument. why cant people just say “oh yes they have problems” and respect it. they both have to struggle for their rights and its something that is getting better over time. and that is that

Just gotta point out that there are black gays who still don’t have those “rights” either way, because they aren’t respected and aren’t enforced due to them being people of color. We have to remember that black doesn’t disqualify one from being gay, and we cant separate white privilege from gay communities either, since white gays get that regardless.

Political correctness is a red herring. It’s a ruse. It’s a demagogically engineered term that is used to appeal to the baser instincts of humans.

The fear that they have to treat somebody more than a label. They can no longer treat somebody with up front prejudice. All of a sudden they have to actually ‘learn’ about an individual.

There was never a political correctness movement in the United States. Being PC is another monster that conservatives have conjured up, much like widespread welfare and The New Black Panthers, in order to distract from any progression regarding discrimination.
